Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
critical evaluation of diagnostic staining techniques for various specimens, including the application of appropriate troubleshooting
correlate theoretical and practical knowledge of cytological and histological techniques to make informed interpretations
communicate insights in a manner befitting medical laboratory scientists, ensuring clarity and precision in conveying complex concepts
display professionalism and ethical behaviour(s) at all times, including adherence to ethical frameworks, confidentiality, and workplace health and safety guidelines when handling and preparing specimens and clinical data
