Show me unit information for year

Unit Snapshot

  • Enrolment information

Students require a sound knowledge of basic ecological principles and sampling methods such as plot and transect sampling, population demographics and quantifying biodiversity. Students also need the technical skills to produce reports, use taxonomic keys and complete on-line tasks. These skills are obtained by completing the pre-requisite unit or equivalent experience. A compulsory 4-day field camp for Online and On-Campus Students is conducted during which most of the practical work is done.
