Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate an ability to establish and pursue an ambitious and practical individual studio program
demonstrate substantial progress towards producing a coherent and competent body of work which demonstrates professional ability and individuality of expression
manifest individual research interests and personal responses to contemporary art debates
manifest self-motivation, and the ability to construct a program of artwork with a coherent direction and imaginatively addresses their own interests
demonstrate ability to produce artworks which display conviction, confidence and control in ideas and materials, and the ability to isolate areas of process that require further research and sustain further development
demonstrate specific material problem solving within the context of an individual work program and understand how to apply existing materials and technologies in new contexts.
