Unit description

Building on the techniques and methods, students examine 'process', in a variety of ways, to create outcomes. Process and processes are utilised to create iterations in studio practices allowing artists to conceptualise series of works by investigating process. The process can become an archive, or the process can draw from an archive of the student’s choosing. The ‘everyday’ as a subject of contemporary art and design is significant to this unit’s field of study. The theme for this unit is ‘Process’.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

  • Students are required to provide all their own materials as required, any additional or specialised material will be listed at the beginning of session. Students must wear closed toe shoes in V Block building at all times.
