Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

initiate, develop and express conceptual and material solutions to sculptural projects set across a range of materials

apply and advance understanding across sculpture and installation practices, reflect on various mediums, and be able to work with materials in an experimental and sustainable manner

apply interdisciplinary approaches within the fine art field at both individual and collaborative levels

contextualise and critique their work and its theoretical and material rationale within the field of sculptural and spatial practice.
