Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
demonstrate understanding of the expressive and experimental possibilities of digital photography and imaging technologies
demonstrate understanding of the methods, materials, and equipment used in digital processes, including an understanding of image capture, digital manipulation, and alternative processes
use basic manual camera techniques and compositional methods
criticise and evaluate technical and artistic aspects of their own photographs and the works of others for presentation within a critical context.

- No prescribed texts.
- This unit requires students to have their own camera equipment and Adobe Suit of software programs to complete the tasks. Students will need to have access to Adobe Suite of software programs if they are taking this course online. On campus has provision for access to this software.
