Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
describe a range of strategies of regenerative agriculture including agronomy and livestock management
identify and apply ecological strategies to address weed, pests and disease issues
apply a life cycle assessment framework to identify farm characteristics in a case study context, including natural capital, agricultural capital, agricultural enterprise/s, human resources and the financial system
develop and effectively communicate a whole farm plan that applies a mix of strategies to move towards a more regenerative agricultural social, environmental and economic system.
