Unit description

Introduces students to a thorough grounding in technical and conceptual matters relevant to contemporary fine arts painting by looking at narrative and figuration. Students are provided with instruction in a range of synthetic polymer paints and can broaden into such areas as gouache, watercolours and various forms of mixed media. Students achieve a level of technical and practical competence in the production of their artwork.
