If you're passionate about IT and want to work in a dynamic industry with diverse career prospects, the Undergraduate Certificate in Information Technology is an excellent way to start your journey.
This course provides you with the opportunity to develop academic and business skills in the area of information technology and digital business, developing your understanding of Information and Communication Technologies and their social, ethical and legal impacts.
You'll complete two core units and choose from a selection of elective units, depending on your interest.
This course is also a pathway into further study. Graduates of this course will be eligible for entry and four units of credit towards the Bachelor of Information Technology.

Entry requirements
Applicants for admission to candidature to the Undergraduate Certificate in Information Technology must have an assessable entry qualification from a country where English is the main language and where the medium of instruction for that qualification was English, or have completed an International English Language Test (or comparable test scores*) with:
- a minimum overall score of 5.5 and a minimum score of 5.0 in each subset (or comparable test scores*), except for writing with a minimum score of 5.5
Course requirements
To be eligible to receive the Undergraduate Certificate in Information Technology, students must complete the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points), comprising:
- 2 core units (24 credit points) and
- 2 elective units (24 credit points)
