Overview
The Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Organisational Development covers eight core units of the Master of Human Resources and Organisational Development, providing specialist knowledge in the areas of strategic human resource management and development, organisational development and change, industrial relations, leadership and people management, organisational behaviour, and international human resource management. There is also an optional industry research project.
The Graduate Diploma is a pathway award. Students who complete the Graduate Diploma are awarded eight units of advanced standing towards the Masters degree, which provides additional specialist study areas or elective units.

Entry requirements
- Applicants for admission to candidature in the Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Organisational Development may be selected where they can demonstrate professional standing approved by the School Board to be equivalent to the requirements of Rule 2, Section 3.
- With reference to Schedule B in Rule 2, Section 1 the level of attainment should be at least equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
Course requirements
- To be eligible for the award of Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Organisational Development a candidate shall successfully complete not less than eight (8) units from Part A.

To be eligible for the award of Graduate Certificate of Human Resources and Organisational Development a candidate shall successfully complete the following four (4) units from Part A:
MNG00704 Human Resource Development;
MNG00724 Human Resource Management;
MNG00786 International and Comparative Human Resource Management; and
MNG03217 Leading and Managing People. - A candidate in the Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Organisational Development who has completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate of Human Resources and Organisational Development may elect to be awarded the Graduate Certificate of Human Resources and Organisational Development following withdrawal from candidature for the Graduate Diploma of Human Resources and Organisational Development.
