The Graduate Certificate in International Tourism and Hotel Management enables you to understand the operation, needs, systems and theories in this thriving professional field.

This degree is also a pathway to higher level studies. Graduates receive credit towards the Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management.

Course Learning Outcome

Contextualise substantial knowledge of recent developments in tourism and hotel management within local and international contexts

You will complete a core unit in management communication and choose three electives from units covering tourism planning, entrepreneurship, tourism and hospitality management, international tourism systems and contemporary issues in the sector.

Topics covered provide you with a foundational understanding of operational and management issues in the tourism and hotel sector relating to planning, sustainability, and social responsibility, as well as applied business and management skills.
