Overview

There's nothing better for business than a satisfied customer. In this course, we'll enhance your business qualifications, prepare you for your own business career, and provide the skills to keep your customers happy.

This six-month program develops your knowledge in foundational subjects such as marketing, economics and organisational behaviour.

The Graduate Certificate in Business also opens the door to postgraduate study, including the Master of Business Administration. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Business are awarded advanced standing of four units.

The Graduate Certificate in Business is also available via an online delivery mode, offering up to six intakes a year.

Course Learning Outcome

Demonstrate a coherent understanding of selected subjects to establish a foundation for advanced level learning.

GA6: Communication and social skills

Practice well-developed communication skills.

GA7: Cultural competence

Demonstrate a coherent understanding of complex ethical and socially responsible business practices, along with a proficient understanding of culturally appropriate business practices.

You will study four core units of the Master of Business Administration covering foundation business subjects in accounting, economics, communication and organisational behaviour.

Entry requirements

Applicants for admission to candidature in the Graduate Certificate in Business may be selected where they can demonstrate professional standing approved by the School Board to be equivalent to the requirements of Rule 2, Section 3.

Language requirements

English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this course are as follows
