Looking for a pathway to a Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Technology or Tourism at an Australian University?
The one-year Diploma of Business gives you the opportunity to develop your academic and business skills in areas of digital business, finance, management, economics and accounting. Completion of the diploma will guarantee you entry into, and credit towards a range of Associate and Bachelor degrees at Southern Cross University.
The Diploma of Business covers all three core skills units and five of the eight core units of Southern Cross University’s Bachelor of Business. Topics could include accounting, finance, economics, business law, statistics, marketing, management, ethics and sustainability.
The Diploma of Business award is offered through SCU College, which understands that learners have diverse experiences and ways of learning. The College supports your study success and connects you to your peers through additional workshops to assist you develop academic and study skills.

Course requirements
To be eligible to receive the Diploma of Business students must complete 96 credit points, comprising:
- 2 core units, and
- 6 units from 1 stream.
Exclusion
The Chair of the College Board may exclude a student for a maximum of one (1) study period where a student has received Absent Fail Grades for all units attempted in a session of study.
