The Undergraduate Qualifying Program (UQP) prepares International students for undergraduate study in a range of business and tourism degrees offered by Southern Cross University. It assists students to develop the skills necessary for success at the undergraduate level.
The course combines English language and academic skills development with academic, content-based studies. It is designed for international students whose academic qualifications and/or English proficiency levels are slightly below Southern Cross University’s entry requirements for undergraduate degrees.

In this program, Part A English for Academic Purposes (EAP) classes are held every weekday, Monday to Friday throughout the session. Part B award units are typically after the EAP classes in the same session.
At Lismore campus, EAP classes are typically from 9:00am to 2:00pm with self-study from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. At Gold Coast campus EAP classes are typically from 8:30am to 1:15am, or 1:30pm to 6:15pm followed by an hour of self-study. These scheduled timings are subject to availability. |
