Entry Award:

To be eligible to receive the Undergraduate Certificate in Engineering, students must complete the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points), comprising:

  • 2 core units (24 credit points) and
  • 2 option units (24 credit points)

 

Exit Pathway:

Students admitted to the Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours) or the Diploma/Associate Degree of Civil Construction (Engineering and Management) may be eligible to exit with the Undergraduate Certificate in Engineering after completing 4 approved core units (48 credit points), as listed in the Schedule of Units.

To be eligible to exit from the Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours) with the Undergraduate Certificate in Engineering, complete the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points), including at least 1 unit from the options below, and the remaining from the core of the Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours) or Associate Degree of Civil Construction and Engineering Management.

Note 1: This half-weighted unit option (6 credit points) must be done in conjunction with the other half-weighted unit option.
