Course summary
We are living through uncertain times and that unpredictability is felt most acutely by students completing their Year 12 studies and those who have recently finished school. But there is a clear, fee-free, pathway available.
Transition to Uni is a free, intensive preparatory course designed for recent school leavers and current ATAR-eligible Year 12 students.
The full-time intensive program is a six-week course. Each week involves 10 hours of class and up to 30 hours for independent study and assessment preparation.
The course develops the key academic literacies and the foundational scientific and mathematical concepts you will need at university, through interactive online modules, live online classes, and assessment preparation. You can proceed to a degree with the confidence you are ready to succeed in your university studies.
Passing the Transition to Uni program will guarantee you entry into a Southern Cross University undergraduate degree*.
*Some courses have additional entry requirements such as an interview, refer to the relevant course page for further information.
For students completing Transition to Uni who plan to gain entry into the Bachelor of Engineering Systems (Honours), if admission is offered on the basis of completion of Transition to Uni, students need to achieve a Distinction or above in the unit UNIP1007 Science and Maths for University.
