By undertaking an online Master of Project Management with Southern Cross University, you'll develop the practical skills and knowledge you need to become a capable leader in an area of tremendous job growth.
The degree is aligned with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) benchmarking tool – Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Choose a range of elective units relevant to healthcare, engineering, IT, accounting and business, and design your own study plan to focus on one particular sector or make your mark in an emerging field.
To gain your qualification, you need to study all core units, four electives of your choice, and complete completing an industry research project to consolidate your project management skills.

Career Outcomes
This course is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). Students who have completed an AIPM-endorsed course are eligible to apply for a certificate as a Certified Practicing Project Practitioner (CPPP) under AIPM's RegPM program. To qualify for CPPP, students must apply for Associate Membership with a copy of their qualification.

To be eligible for the Master of Project Management a candidate shall successfully complete 12 units (144 credit points) comprising:
- all units listed in Part A and Part C; and
- any four (4) elective units from Part B
Exit Awards
- A candidate in the Master of Project Management who has completed the requirements for the Graduate Diploma of Project Management may elect to be awarded the Graduate Diploma following withdrawal from candidature for the Masters award.
- A candidate in the Master of Project Management who has completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate of Project Management may elect to be awarded the Graduate Certificate following withdrawal from candidature for the Masters award.
