Master of Project Management - (MPM). Available online.Masters by Coursework
By undertaking an online Master of Project Management with Southern Cross University, you'll develop the practical skills and knowledge you need to become a capable leader in an area of tremendous job growth (Hudson, 2015).
The degree is aligned with the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) benchmarking tool – Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Choose a range of elective units relevant to healthcare, engineering, IT, accounting and business, and design your own study plan to focus on one particular sector or make your mark in an emerging field (IT management in the healthcare sector, for example). Study is 100% online, meaning you can complete your degree in your own time, where it suits you.
Each unit runs for seven weeks, with six study periods per year. To gain your qualification, you need to study all core units and four electives of your choice. You are also required to complete an industry research project that will consolidate your project management skills in risk, control, planning, implementation, evaluation, collaboration and systems analysis.
You may exit early with a Graduate Diploma or a Graduate Certificate. If you have already completed some postgraduate study, you may be eligible to apply for advanced standing, enabling you to pay less and be qualified even sooner.
