Course summary
The Honours degree in psychology is a separate fourth year of study which may be undertaken following successful completion of an undergraduate degree. Upon completion of a three-year Bachelor of Psychological Science degree, eligible students may undertake a fourth year of study by enrolling in the Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours. Completion of this fourth year of study is the minimal educational qualification for conditional registration as a psychologist in NSW.
Interested applicants need to contact the School directly to discuss their eligibility and to find a suitable honours supervisor for their proposed honours topic prior to lodging their application. Apply directly to the University.

Completion of the Bachelor of Psychological Science degree plus completion of the Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, meets the requirements for conditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Both of these degrees are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
