Bachelor of Business with HonoursBachelors Honours Degree (C/w)
The Bachelor of Business with Honours is research focused and offers students a pathway to a career in academia as well as the opportunity to attain or develop a career in the private and public sector.
The honours degree is available to students who have completed their undergraduate degree in business (or equivalent) and achieved a grade point average of five or above. Students will complete coursework units as well as a research project (thesis) of approximately 20,000 words. The research project will be conducted under the supervision of a nominated academic supervisor.
The honours program is offered in internal study mode, however, consideration will be given under special circumstances to students wishing to study by distance education.
Interested applicants need to contact the University to discuss their eligibility and to find a suitable honours supervisor for their proposed honours topic prior to lodging their application.

Identify and scope a research-worthy, discipline-specific problem, taking into account the important theory, practical application, ethical considerations,and the time and resource constraints applicable to the study.
Demonstrate an appreciation of the current issues and developed thinking pertaining to the discipline area investigated by producing a literature review which appropriately identifies relevant sources of information.
Present research proposals and findings at academic forums, and incorporate feedback received into the study.

- a major study in one of the following areas: Accounting; Economics; Finance; Human Resource Management; Information Systems; International Business; Management and Marketing; Retail; and
The units required consist of: MAT00792 Research Methods plus two (2) coursework seminar units and three (3) research thesis unit
